LCGB and the staff delegation of the St George’s International School have reached an agreement with the Board of Governors in negotiations for a new collective bargaining agreement at the school.
A new definition for the working time of the professional staff could have been found, satisfying the changing needs of the school.
Concerning the salary scales, the following improvements have been negotiated:
- A new salary scale will be introduced for administration and support staff on 1st September 2013.
- A new point 0 has been added to the teacher’s salary scale for trainee teachers who are undertaking a teaching qualification supported by the school.
- A new point U4 will be added to the scale for the teachers above point U3 from 1st September 2013 and a new point U5 from 1st September 2014.
- A new point 10 will be added to the scale for Early years Educators from 1st September 2013.
- A new point 7 will be added to the scale for school nurses from 1st September 2013.
- A new point 11 will be added to the scale for teaching assistants from 1st September 2013. Teaching assistants will progress to these new points in line with current practice.
